Meaningful Change
Partnerships that support essential services and empower Australian charities and nonprofit organisations to make a meaningful impact in local communities.
Enablen started in 2021 with a clear mission: to drive positive change in local communities by supporting charities and not-for-profit organisations.
We work closely with Australian charities and non-profits to generate grant funding by developing grant proposals that support the delivery of essential community services. Through our grant writing services, we have helped local organisations to secure essential funding that supports community services, social initiatives, and health programs.
Enablen is a certified Social Enterprise, registered under the Social Traders certification scheme providing Grant Writing services.
Our people and our mission is underpinned by compassion. We are committed to challenging and overcoming the inequities in our communities.

selectability is one of regional Queensland's largest providers of mental health and suicide prevention services, supporting individuals and communities across northern, central and western Queensland for more than 40 years.
selectability identified a critical need in the Burdekin region for accessible mental health and suicide prevention services. The organisation had purchased the iconic but unused Caledonian Hall in Ayr, with a vision to transform it into a mental health hub and suicide prevention safe haven.
Enablen worked closely with selectability to develop a comprehensive funding application for the Queensland Government's Community Infrastructure Investment Partnership (CIIP) program. Our team:
- Analysed the CIIP program objectives and guidelines to ensure strong alignment between the funding criteria and selectability's project;
- Developed a detailed project plan demonstrating how the renovation would create a multi-purpose facility offering vital community services;
- Built a compelling case showing how the project would address critical mental health needs and support employment in the region;
- Prepared comprehensive documentation including budgets, timelines and evidence of community support.
selectability successfully secured $808k in CIIP funding to transform the Caledonian Hall into a modern mental health facility. This funding enabled:
- Complete renovation of the facility with full disability access;
- Creation of consultation rooms for counselling services;
- Establishment of training rooms for mental health and community services qualifications;
- Development of spaces for group programs and community activities;
- Installation of modern amenities including a commercial kitchen.
